Been hoping to hear someone review this rod, been holding out on purchasing one til I heard some feed back about it. May just retire a couple of my rear seat Ozarks and give one these a test drive. Thanks

Been fishing this rod lately, and let me tell ya it is a good rod for jigging, I like it just as much as the Ozarks, it also has a little bigger eyes on it which makes it easier to thread and a cut on the cork putting your finger on the blank. It is a good rod you can put your money on, For sure. Give one a try and see for yourself.

Been thinking about getting a new one, may give it a try. Hows the weight compared to an Ozark?
Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
I was actually on here looking for a new hot spot to catch some nice size crappie. ha ha
The sam Heaton is a great pole it is lighter than the Ozark but not quite the backbone, there is another great pole just come on the market In a 11ft.rear seat cork handle also. It's a JENKO and also a little cheaper than the others !!!

When I was young I would fish with my grand parents on a local oxbow. We would set on cane poles in a small boat and just drift. If my butt wasn't setting on a pole I was getting told to get my rear back on it. Now it's monies for one POLE?
Love my 11' Sam Heaton, great backbone considering the weight of the rod... (first one I bought is in the bottom of lake Brewer :-/) landed 8lb bass and swung in several big crappie with this rod...super light and
SENS-IT-IVE!
why rear seated seems like that would make it harder to balance the pole in your hand?
