Welcome to the boards, the Arkansas gang is a good group and very helpful, you should enjoy it here. Keep that kid fishing. Hardest part will be him having the patience for these finiky creatures

Hello everyone.
I've been reading for a couple of weeks and finally took the plunge and decided to register. It looks like there is a lot of useful information on this board.
I'm a lifelong fisherman who for various reasons got away from it for a couple of years. I guess it was last year I decided to get back on the water and now I'm "hooked" again (pun intended). I have an 8 yr old son who loves to fish so I figured there is no better way enjoy our time together.
I've always bass fished but it seems like lately I've been more interested in crappie, so thats why I'm here.
Hope to see some of ya'll on the water one of these days and good luck.

Welcome from NW Arkansas. Just keep on fish'n with your little one. You can't ever get those years back. He'll always remember the times spent fish'n with old dad, trust me. I took all 3 of my boys to Beaver Tail Water a couple of years ago and even though they are all well into their 20's and early 30's they still talk about the bows in in the White and how old dad showed em how it was done. We camped for 4 days on the Corps CG and had a ball. I know I'll always remember it and by it they will always remember me. Did you read up on the nightstalk. We had a great time and got to put faces to handles. Would't take a solid gold anchor for the fellowship.
If you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy!
