Welcome to the board flyflinger, from lower Arkansas.

Can't wait. See you at the launch site about 1600 or a little earlier. I have about a 2 hour drive from Yellville.

Its been a long winter, and cabin feaver has set in. I'd drive to LA (that's lower Alabama) if I had to to get in some fishing. Bringing two crappie poles and just a little tackle (sinkers, hooks, etc) and a bait bucket. Is that enough?

You dont need the bait bucket. Other than that some warm clothes and a little desire is all you need.

Hey Flyflinger, bring a fish cooler or a 5 gallon bucket so that you can take some slabs home with you.

I'll bring a small cooler and pick up a bag of ice on the way down. It should stay froze in the back of the pickup till we get in from the lake. Thanks guys, I am really looking forward to this fishing adventure.
