They're always not biting right before they start biting...I'd give 'em a try.

Default Fish Not Biting. What do you do? Go Home!

No matter the bite, SOMEONE always finds and catches fish. Some days that someone might be you. Nothing ventured nothing gained. I'd go fish anyways.

You don't measure success by how many you catch, it's the experience that matters most. I usually learn my most valuable lessons when the fishing is tough. It'll make you a better angler if you figure them out on those slow days.

There is an Ole Saying...Early to bed, early to rise, FISH LIKE H3LL !!! and make up lies. On a more serious note, If it was worth your time to drive to or launch a boat on it, then it is worth your time to try it. Never give up on a Lake without even trying it. Things can change for the better or worse in a split second when it comes to crappie fishing. Let's hope it is for the better when you launch your boat.

MY opinion is there is almost always a way to catch them . Doesn't mean you will figure it out but you can't if you don't go try . The fish are there in most cases it is just doing the right thing to trigger a bite . Most people fish the same way no matter where they go and we all want to fish off memories ( I use to catch them here on this not sure why it isn't working ) I am as bad as anyone but the most successful folks are willing to look at each day and each situation differently and that usually equals success.

Most times it's not the arrow, as much as it is the Indian..... 90% of the fish are caught by 10% of the "Indians"
