Took some baits to a Bait shop.pulled the boat.Bait shop owner said it was to hot Crappie not biting.Catchen a few cats he said. Showed the bait shop owner these crappie.He said what ya catch them own Minnows.Did know crappie in this lake got that size.I said no caught them on the hand made crappie baits in the boxes.Black/Chart,Orange chart.Said how do you work those baits? I said you don't work them"They work for you".Caught a limit kept 10 to eat.A 10 in taste the same as a 12 or 13 in in the skillet.Caught several cat's one good eater about 2 lb.Broke a Rod tip.But in all a Good day.Better than a poke in the EYE" as my Grandfather use to say" A Country Boy can survive. Catch cat fish/crappie all day long .a country Boy can surviveCalled a crappie fishermen ask him if he would like to go."He said it was to hot crappie not biting" A country Boy Can Survive.

Fishing Lesson! pulled up to the bait shop Saturday.The man said fish ain't biting to hot.Its not to hot fish has got to eat.They ain't waiting till the water gets cooler to eat.Try different thing's different colors,jighead weights,ect.tHEIR IS NO MAGIC BAIT. MINNOW OR JIG'SYou cant tie up to one tree top or stump cast out minnow's bang on boat and expect fish to bite. You're right Jackie, that is her job, wasn't the kind of rapping I was talking about, but she does come in handy around Christmas time. LOL If I could get caught up with all the things I've got to do that are keeping me from going fishing, then maybe we can get up to Norfork and see what we can do trolling some cranks.
