I have been spotted catching fish in a spot one day, and my gut instinct has told me if I didn't get back to that spot early in the morning...the folks who saw me will be on that spot like white on rice the next morning. So the next morning i made it a point to leave in the dark to get there before the folks who saw me... got there. Sure enough here they come only to see me there again. I have even seen their expression's and sunken feelings when they come into view or hear rumblings like "Dang he's there again". LOL Works both ways tho I have also lost some good spots because I didn't get there the next day early enough and had my feelings a little hurt knowing those folks would not be catching those fish if it was not for them watching me the day prior. Oh Well time to find another spot. But always remember the Ole Expression "The early Bird gets the worm" is so true in fishing.

Fished a BASS Tour on Bull Shoals back in the day 5 flights of 100 boats each flight.Ran all the way from Bull shoals boat dock to Lead Hill "east and west Sugarloaf creeks" 1st day of tour ran too the back of east sugarloaf .Had to lay down on my boat run trolling motor with my hand to get under a bridge in back of creek"crappie heaven"caught a limit 7 bass that weighed 28 lb's.My draw partner was for texas." Back of the boat"Being at the top of the leader board would be in last flight out the next morning,100 boat each flight 490 boats would go out before me the final day.Took of the next morning for east sugarloaf when we got to the bridge their was my partner from the day before with his boat partner already under the bridge.I was kind of upset.Was fishing for big money and My sponsor's.Had a place up river in bear Creek had caught some in practice.Ran up their caught a couple of Bass and a 6 1/2 pounder.Had a bigger bass own that broke my spinnerbait "No net not allowed".Could not finish a limit had 5 needed 7."those guy's you got to have 7 a limit.Their going to catch them.The Guys under the Bridge did not catch a keeper bass.LOL

.Came out in 7th place still a pretty good paycheck.But I was their to win !! If your big bass bound let me tell ya it's a long hard ride"LOL

CP was at Bates field and stream bait shop and lake conway "without a boat" Will be back!!
