Nimrod report
Got to fish with lil bit and my wife Sunday following a long night of work. We got to the lake around 930 and launched at carden point. The boat launched easily from that ramp. Was about 10 trucks parked along the dirt road. We idled around looking in awe as I haven't seen the lake low in a long time. We fished the edge of the river channel with crank baits until the lightening ran us off the lake around 2pm. The bite was very slow for most folks we talked. We ended up with 5 nice crappie enough for a little meal. I can say if you fish up there don't waste time from Anderson branch to carden point with cranks right now. We didn't mark a lot of fish in the channel itself which I thought was odd. We fished from 2-10 ft deep as the thermocline was 12 ft deep. Was a neat day to get out and relax. Hope the report hella someone catch a bunch fish as I eliminated a lot of water lol.
