    Default Nimrod bait shop

Thought pass on from another fisherman that Andrews bait shop is closed this week at nimrod. You may want to call them if you are counting on wm for bait, etc.

They are on vacation and I don't think that they will reopen until probably Tuesday of next week. If coming up Hwy 10 get your bait at King's One Stop before you reach Lake Maumelle. as far as around the lake here I guess Centerville would be the closest place to get minnows. If heading North towards Dardanelle from Lake Nimrod on Hwy 7 take a left at Centerville and the Bait Shop is about a block up on the left. If they open the bait shop at Nimrod earlier than expected I'll be sure to post it so everyone will know.
I've got a friend and his wife camping and fishing all week and I told him to bring minnows with him. We'll still have to go get some more for them later in the week.

We fished last week. Saturday had to get minnows . went to whiskers in perryville. He sells by the dozen. 2.82. Went to Harris brake. Bait shop at the lake sells by the dozen. 2.75. Neither would sell by the pound.

Make sure you take an ice chest to put them in. We use an icechest and 12 volt bubbler. They stay alive for days.

Jerry fishing was slow for us Sunday. The place on maumelle bld sells by the dozen. There is one place across river bridge coming from Conway that sells by the lb also.

If your leaving from the Little Rock area you can get Minnows by the pound for $10 at Zimmerman's ... Best part of Tony's place is it is open 24 hrs per day ...7 days per week
