The shad are bunched up in the slack water harbor here at the port of Little Rock. There are millions of gulls diving after them. You would think there would be fish under them. This happens every year.

There have been several out Crappie fishing on Nimrod. The Crappie are biting , but are on the small side. Yesterday I caught them in 10' to 15' water over brushpiles. Most are in the creek channels and suspended on brush. Some were hitting my jigs on the fall. We are having a shad kill and they are dying all over the lake. :D Water temps are running around 40.

I am a heterosexual male. 2 Chronicles 7:14
"If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
Same thing was going on at the Little Maumelle this weekend. 4 inch dead shad everywhere. Bet the catfish are loving life right now.
