I got all the hooks from Lowes. I bought a can of the vinyl dip you use to coat your pliers or other tool handles and coated the J hooks that the rod rested on, I was afraid it might wear the shaft. Probably overkill.

This is one of the ones I was looking for. I saw this during the contest and I'm going to put two sets of rods on my 24' overhead door like this. I still want to see more rack ideas for the walls tho. My 30x40 shop is a bit too high for ceiling stuff.
