    Default drift sock?

I had one of my customers give me a bag that UPS uses to ship packages in. It is a real fine mesh as you can see in the pic. Has 4 eyelets. It is 36" wide and 32" deep. Do you guys think it would be worth trying to use it as a drift sock? I know I might need 2 of 'em but I have access to more of them so that isn't a problem. Opinions?Name: driftbag.JPG

You'll have to put something that makes the top of the mouth float and the bottom of the mouth sink or it won't open up to catch water.

I think it would be fun to try them as drift socks. Get a pool noodle and put between your eyes on the top and get a couple 1 ounce weights for the bottom 2 anchor points and see what happens. You may have discovered the best drift sock ever.
