Since I am moving my base of operation to Greers Ferry, I have got to reduce my inventory of boats / family heirlooms. I had grand plans of buying a new bass tracker but those plans will have to be put on hold for now. Here's what I am left with at 1542 War Eagle with a tiller steer 25 hp and 1648 Alumcraft aluminum bass boat with steering wheel and a 30 hp Gotta sell one and keep the other to fish Greers Ferry. Both are older boats and motors that are reliable. The War Eagle slices thru waves like a yacht and 1648 is true flatbottom that will beat you to death. Which would boat would you keep?? P.S. I am smart enough to stay off the lake when the wind is up or to take shelter when the wind comes up and I don't plan any cross country trips on the lake. I just plan on fishing reasonable close to wherever I launch.
