Default Close Call With The Tornado!

Thank the Good Lord that the tornado just missed us up on Lower Ridge (between Conway and Vilonia). The skies were wicked looking and hail pelted our house for a good 15 minutes. It was already too dark to assess the damage but i bet that i will need to call the insurance adjuster in the morning to inspect the roof. Has anyone ever had to do that befor? Is it a pain in the rear? I pray that no one gets injured in the storms. Judging by the path, it went pretty close to Russ's housr also. Hopefully they are alright. Yall stay safe and take shelter when you hear the warnings!

Glad it missed you. I live on Beaverfork Rd and we got a lot of rain, a lil thunder and some lightning. Thankfully no hail. I could see the dark clouds moving east. I had to have a roof replaced because of wind damage before. Adjuster came out, climbed up on roof, looked around and said I definitely needed a new roof. Wasn't a big deal at all. Good luck.

Russ called back. They are fine. He did say that the storm knocked Dennis Bayless (Midsouthman) power out in Romance. Hopefully they are alright.

Glad all is OK that direction. Have been in touch with the in-laws at Mayflower and they are good.

Had some high winds and heavy rain here in Hot Springs Village, thank goodness no tornadoes or hail.

Definitely call all an adjuster out to look at any damage. I've found they are more receptive to paying claims after a widespread storm like this one.
