That's a perfect solution to your problem. I can see someone making an aluminum pole for that claw and it looking real nice on ANY boat.
Great idea. Thx for sharing it.

I like that mounting. My transducer is mounted to the bottom of my TM and I don't like messing with the cable every time I raise or lower the unit.
If we did what was most important in life there would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles

We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
I do have one question. Why didn't you drill a hole in the back of the tube and run your transducer cable up through it instead of attaching the cable to the outside of the tube?
Still a great idea.![]()

It would require a slot 2" long and 1/2" wide to allow the connection end of cable to go through,I was afraid it would weaken it.
I fish the Stumphole and Jacks Creek areas mostly. MY BIL retired from the Air Force at Shaw and lived in Sumter. He fished Sparkle berry Swamp 3 to 4 times a week year around until cancer took him out at 51 years old.
I fished the White Bass runs with him there and several of us camped on Sparke berry Island for few days every March until the WB disappeared.
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
I'm with blueducklane, what kind of seat is that you have there? Looks like a Lazyboy recliner!

It came out of a chaperlle speed boat. I had to fabricate a bottom plate to mount it on a standard seat base. It is very comfy! I have another I might sell if the price I right, modified plate included. It is a new seat.
I bought this transducer mount from Ricky in KY works very well.
