Default Be safe and wear a jacket

Yesterday I was on beaverfork fishing with my wife, and while I was messing with my motor, my wife sat on the dock and watched a dad, his 8 year old daughter, and 4 y/o son get in the boat and drive off. About an hour later we heard rescue trucks and saw a rescue boat go out. They came back with an empty boat, as they had capsized. The kids were wearing life jackets and were ok, however their dad was not. Divers found him later on. I can't imagine the heartbreak his family is going through so let's please pray for them, especially those 2 kids. But just a reminder, there are people in your life counting on you and we are not invincible, so take the time to put your life jacket on and wear it!
He said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

    Prayers sent. So sad.
Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Too much of this has happened this winter. Wear your life jackets and kill switch. Prayers for the family.

Very sad. It definitely makes me reconsider wearing a life jacket.
