    Default Conway 01/30/07

I went out to lawrence landing tonight about 30 minutes before dark and here is the biggest one I caught. They got lockjaw at dark. There were 3 younger guys out there with one fish on the stringer and I caught 5 to add to their one plus a yellow and some smalls. (Forgot my bucket argh) Notice the severely chapped upper lips and the wind burn. Gotta love crappie fishing!

Well I missed two last night must have been too small for the hook haha. You know Leon always misses about 50. Its those tiny ultra lite rods he uses.

Good catch, at first I thought it was a miniature hybrid striper, haha. Looks like a pretty stout fish.

Leave the bad luck at home and bring a couple of fishing poles. Coats I really do wish you would come. There are 3 boats that I know for sure are going to be there with only the boat owner fishing so I promise you will be welcome aboard the boat of your choice.

There are a number of guys that are making plans to come that dont have boats so go ahead and get your kitchen pass early so you can come and meet everyone. I am going to cook some burgers and shoot the bull then let everyone go pick there spots that we plan to already have marked with a bouy. It may not be the best fishing trip of your life but I know you will have a good time and meet some of the finest folks fishing has to offer (myself excluded).

Well I went today in the snow rather the snow in conway and the COLD wind down at the lake. No snow there. Caught four small ones. Jugum showed up and he got a lil yellow bass for all his efforts. Everything kept icing up. You missed the biggest small one right after you left Jugum. Good thing I had gotten rid of the rest of my minnows or I would have been tempted to stay. Time to make some homemade buiscuts and gravy and get warm.
