I got out on Coronado Saturday afternoon. Starting raining about the time I started the boat.
Hooked one one fish that got off before I got it to the boat.
I I think you'll catch a lot more fish over there.

I must have pulled a dozen or two yellow bass just like the one in your second picture out of Beaverfork back in the fall. They were prolific in spots, you'd find a school of them and you could sit there cast after cast catching them for what seemed like hours at a time.
At first it was entertaining, a fish on every cast, but then after a while you'd get so many I started to wonder if they were detrimental to the lake.

D-10 stated in an earlier post that they are nuisance fish. Wouldn't hurt if we could start catching and eating em' or using them to fertilize the garden. Be fun to take some kids out and let them just wear those little buggers down!Originally Posted by Fellows

It would be a blast for kids of any age and sounds like good for the lake. I know when I sat on top of them several times it was non-stop action - pink, chartreuse, under a slip bobber, on a Roadrunner, it didn't matter, they were all over anything I dropped down there.
