D10, I have really noticed the trot lines and old crap off a lot of the PVC, etc. is better since your post about cleaning up the crap a few months ago. I helped with a few "clean ups" myself Certainly, a big thanks is in order for what you do to make Lake Conway a better place. Not griping about the trails, just hoping ....

Thanks for helping in this effort. It will take more than me to get the job done. Even though I can't request that yall help clean up illegally hung yo-yo and abandoned limblines/trot lines, I really do appreciate the help! We realize that the boat trails need work, we will get them taken care of (pending approved funds) during the next draw down. And yes, the stretch of trail north of the 89 Bridge is bad. The best advice I can give right now is, slow and steady!

A buddy told me that someone put up some PVC markers around Greens Lake that do not mark the trail well. This is a warning that this was done by an angler and is not a safe trail to run. This fake trail is riddled with stumps (so I'm told) We will probably try to get out there and remove them soon.

For sure, yall that run the lake like that known the lake well. But, you never know when a half floating log will drift into a boat trail. I'm just saying. More power to those who know the lake well enough to run wide open. How to fish Conway
