Thread: My/Our lucky day!?? who needs a knife?

Some of you guys may be excited to hear my story about my knife dilemma if you're anything like me and love your American Angler knife....

years and years ago i bought a AA 12 volt knife that i grew very fond of and cleaned hundreds of fish with it and then low and behold one day it lays down on me and i thought "yeah no biggie, i'll go buy another one since i had def got my money worth out of it".... and boy was a i saddened to learn that they discontinued the 12volt!!! what's a man to do? i tried the berkley and it was under powered compared to the AA and the same with rapala so i broke down and bought one of the $100 110volt AA and do not like it near as well. the main thing that stinks is the non-ergonomic handle that cause my hand a forearm to cramp up after using it very long and the fact that i have to have 110volt to use it. Sooooo....i took to facebook and found their site and pretty much begged and pleaded with them to reconsider their decision to stop making them and didn't really hear much back from them. i went on to pesture them anytime i seen that they made a new post as in "hint hint we still want a 12volt knife". This has gone on for a year probably and would ya believe i got a message on FB telling me to contact them as "we have found something in our inventory that may be of interest to you"!! heck ya!!! so hear i go with an email and in no time a lady responded back they had indeed found not one, but 54 of them hidden away!!!! anyways, i'm excited as you can tell and this may not be much of a fishing story, but i've been "fishing" these guys for a knife for a while and it paid off! she's getting me a price and supposed to let me know in the morning. I told her i would tell you guys about it and she said great and if they don't move fast they'll make their way to amazon.com.
