Thread: Crappie Tournament on Lake Erling

My bad I was thinking last week in march.

Well the tournament came and went. My wife and I prefished the lake several times and did well, but bombed on the day of the tournament. It was the worst day of fishing we had. Here are some pictures of our prefishing efforts. caught these 4 pigs the day before. the big fish of the tournament was 2.3 lb's and we caught at least 4 that size prefishing. I knew the competition would be tough but never dreamed we wouldn't be able to catch a full 15 for the weigh in but we only caught 10 the biggest was 1.94 lbs. Congratulations to the winners.

Nice fish! I know why you didn't catch the good ones on tournament day. You filleted them all while prefishing! Just messing with you Bobby.
