Default Look at the water levels !

Dardanelle (Arkansas River) below the lake already past flood stage . Nimrod Lake rising fast but this is crazy . With all the flooding Nimrod dam is releasing water . But must be whats headed our way . Gaging station above the lake at Gravelly shows river at 31.51 feet when normal is a couple feet . Petit Jean River below Blue Mtn Lake at Danville shows 27.86 and with flood stage considered 20 feet . We may see record setting floods .

Hope it don't get any higher than a few years ago on Conway. It will be in the in-laws house.

Man , I pray for those who have homes in the threatened areas ! It sure is going to mess fishing up for sometime on most of our lakes and rivers.

Beaver is a fairly big lake and it has come up almost seven feet in the last eighteen hours which probably means it will be above pool for at least four or five more months.

Forecast on Jan.1 Nimrod is to crest at 372' msl and spillway is 373' msl. Only a foot lower than spillway . Lets hope this is end of the rain for a good while .

Randal - Lake Conway is curently 264.1 feet high. The winter pool is 262 feet and the rest of the year (normal pool) the lake is kept at 263 feet. All of the spillway gates were opened when the lake was st 262.3 feet (3/10 feet high) in anticipation of the heavy rains. We are not sure how much more the lake will come up but we are guessing that it will end up around 265.5 to 266.0 feet high. So it would be 2.5' -3.0' higher than the normal pool (263.0) and 3.5' - 4.5' higher than the winter pool (262.0). I'm not sure how low your in laws place is but I would make sure that they have all of their stuff away from the low lying areas. The AR River is predicted to crest at 282.2 feet sometime between a Wednesday and Thursday. This hinders our efforts to discharge flood waters out of the lake because if backs up Palarm Creek. We will probably see the creek flowing backwards into the lake again. Hopefully all will be OK.

been in Denver last 6 days with my newly born grandson, but will be back to little rock on Wednesday. I assume Conway will be fish able, even if I can't catch any due to the high water
