    I was just looking at the Ark forum the Slab Bandit mentioned on his thread. Lazy J reports they stocked crappie into the lake from the nursery with the largest stocking since 1970. They re-stocked the lake with the last draw down 5 years ago if I am remembering correctly. The crappie fishing only got better each year after that with quality and quanity. I hope they did the same with red ears too.

    I am having troubles logging onto the AGFC sight today. Anybody else heard anything??

    Glad to see you are on our local site too there DrPepper. Still looking forward to fishing as soon as this 20' of flood water is gone from Nimrod.:D I posted on a catfish site and got deleted and warned. I guess I'll need to delete their link too.:rolleyes:

    Well for the last 4 days I have done a little fishing here and there around Caney Creek area. I have caught a couple decent fish and I believe when the water clears up from the last rain they should turn on. As always black and chart jigs...nothing huge and no huge numbers but enough to keep me interested in the cold weather
