I like the spinning rod eyes unless jigging in thick brush. Project is looking good.

Got a rod on the bench that I've completed the handle but suddenly question which guides I want to use. It's an 8'6" fly rod blank (5/6 weight) that I have built in the past as a spinning rod. After having been out jigging yesterday, thinking of a different configuration. Any ideas or comments???

Thank you. Guess that's why I'm questioning the spinning rod eyes. Was jigging in some shallow brush piles on the end of a point and my normal 10' B&M was just not as easy to wield in those quarters. Wind probably wasn't helping. But, it got me to thinking of putting the other style on...Only have the first guide wrapped and the others taped. I'd rather ask now.
