Rod Building Question
Got a rod on the bench that I've completed the handle but suddenly question which guides I want to use. It's an 8'6" fly rod blank (5/6 weight) that I have built in the past as a spinning rod. After having been out jigging yesterday, thinking of a different configuration. Any ideas or comments???

Thank you. Guess that's why I'm questioning the spinning rod eyes. Was jigging in some shallow brush piles on the end of a point and my normal 10' B&M was just not as easy to wield in those quarters. Wind probably wasn't helping. But, it got me to thinking of putting the other style on...Originally Posted by RCC
