Im flippin a coin between whatever russell and nimrods respond with. But i gotta tall ya im sneakin some others under my hat for a cloudy day.
I can likely answer for Nimrod. The rule does not even exist yet he still rarely strays from an Ozark Rod, vertical jigging an 1/8th oz jighead inserted into a Purple/Chartreuse Southern Pro umbrella tube. I don't personally know him, I have never fished with him, nor have I ever seen him fish but he's let it be well known on this forum that that's a successful recipe for his appetite !
just the thought of that hypothetical would give nightmares to all the tackle company exec's.
Spider rigging 8- 14ft rods with double minnows. Never seen a bait better than a live minnow. Some days they will nail a jig but they will ALWAYS hit a minnow. ITS WHATS FOR DINNER!

Give me my 12' Grizzly Elite with the Cabela's fly reel I have on it now, 1/16th ounce minnow head jig, Arkie white/chartreuse body and all that held together with some Berkley solar green line. I'm good for a year.
