I don't know where all of those little lakes/ponds are, but I think the AGFC stocks them with cats and even some with trout and I've heard it draws quite a few fishermen when they do it. Not that the AGFC wants or needs my thoughts, but I like the idea CJ.

I know that a few of the Conway Public Schools have small waters on them and the PE programs have fishing days and special fishing events hosted there from time to time, so that's one example of the type of places I was referring to.

I think that would be a mistake, as stocking Crappie in a small pond will create the same over crowding problem that Nimrod is experiencing now. They will quickly eat up all of the bait fish in a pond like that.

I was referring to lakes such as Ouachita and Degray, that aren't exactly known for their Crappie population. But, I have no idea what will work. Just throwing an idea out there.
