The recruiting has been so much better than the Solich era, but it looks like Brandon Jackson is leaning toward the NFL. He has had a lot of injuries, especially shoulder and broke a finger in the Big 12 Conference Championship game. There are over 1800 posters on the Huskersillustrated site right now as he was supposed to declare this afternoon.
They have the 3 backs that you mentioned and a great RB Quentin Castille from Texas that may play a lot as a freshman. The offensive line is finally getting better, but the defensive front has to be replaced. Sam Keller coming in from Arizona State has only one year but he was the Q Back on the scout team, so he should come in with good knowledge of the W C Offense. Zac lee, a JC recruit comes in with 4 years to play 3 and might be the QB of the future.

Boomer Sooners better crow while they can cause the NCAA is going to bury them after the investigation of the Big Red dealership. You know if OU gets hammered as they should, and Arkansas looses face (they already have), Tulsa may get a little better recruits from in state that want to stay close to home but dont want to play at either of those problem plagued programs.

did arkansas really lose alot in malzahn and mustain. you know that mustain is the same guy that made his team better when he came out of the game. and malzahn is the same guy that called plays that a peewee coach knows better than to call in critical situations.

i personally don't think we lost much.

I agree to a certian extent as I don't think Mustain will ultimately be a great QB. However we did loose the respect of recruits as we are the laughing stock of the SEC with all the drama. We also loose recruits due to the evidence that Arkansas is not going to spread the feild and throw the ball, and that our coaching staff lies to get players. I realize that all coaches and teams do (they lied to me when I was recruited) but now other coaches have documented proof of Nutts lies and will use that when we are head to head recruiting.

Also I am not impressed at all with Coach Lee. Remember him the offensive coordinator who's first tenure ended when Arkansas had 34 total yards against UCLA in the Cotton Bowl? Or perhaps his finest moment was the fine offensive preformance agianst Minnesota in the Music City Bowl (less than 150 yards total offense). Lee knows how to work with Frank and knows that its Franks way or the highway so he will workout just fine.

Man been a hog fan for years but they have folded down the strech for the last time with me on the bandwagon. 30 years of failure and mediocracy at best is enough for me.

I would take Malzahn's PeeWee plays any day before I would Nutt...
As far as Mustain...Either way...didnt show me that much...

The things that bothers me is the head coach! Worthless.
