Recently I broke one of my trolling rod tips and forgot about it until I was ready to go again. So I applied this quick fix and it worked great. The break was fairly clean and not splintered significantly. Having a few other broken rod tips I found a section that I thought I could cut, with a Drimmel cut off wheel, a piece from that would slide over the two broken ends reasonably well. After sanding the two broken ends I applied some epoxy, slipped the piece over the ends, and left overnight. The piece I cut had a eyelet on it so I just left it. It worked as good as new and no plans to buy another one. Just an idea that might help someone in a bind.Name: IMG_20150805_100435393.jpg
