    Default Power Pole Spike Failure

My power pole decided to deploy itself while driving down the interstate. Didn't notice it until someone flagged me down and I pulled over. I now have a six foot power pole. I think moisture got in the remote to make it go down. Seems like it is always something. It was a tire blow out two weeks ago. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1439175632.414593.jpg

That stinks man! I had that happen while fishing a tourney this Spring. We kept noticing a vibration in the back while we were running, and the boat wouldn't plane out like out was supposed to. We finally figured out that the battery that the talons were hooked to was low and they were deploying on their own for some reason.

You now have 5ft power poles instead of 8 ft , just fish shallower water and it be OK, Power Pole Spike Failure , really though never new they could accidentally deploy, something to keep in mind in the future, thanks for sharing

Power pole customer service was awesome. Told them what happen and they sent me a replacement spike free of charged. Hard to find a company these days like that.

I use it some. Really need two for the full effect if you fish shallow water.
