Do your self a favor and get the biggest battery for cranking you can get. Then buy yourself a set of jumper cables instead and keep in the boat. That will solve your issue I bet. The same thing happened to me 3 x when I bought my boat until I upgraded to a larger battery. You can jump off the troller batteries if needed and you don't have to worry about keeping the portable battery charged either. Hope this helps.
