    Default Crooked Creek Redemption!

Today after work we wade fished for a few hours upstream of Pyatt on Crooked Creek. This was a new area to us but we smoked them. Nothing huge, just a bunch of fish! We caught over 100 fish between the 2 of us. It felt good after only landing 3 brownies yesterday. We also caught some thumper longear sunfish and bluegill. Some of the biggest that I have seen out there.

I have had my fill of wading creeks for a while. Looking forward to cooler temps and feeling the thump on Conway. It couldn't come soon enough!

Looks like a good time bud. Can't beat the scenery up there.

The Kings has some monster brownie in it. But be warned, it can be very crowded on the weekend., especially when it is so hot outside. When there is too much traffic on the Kings, it is hard to get a fish to bite. The same thing happens on the Buffalo. I think that all of the boats going by spooks them. Good luck!

I have a trout trip planned in October out of Norfork cabins. You gave me an idea for a gag with your hook being broke. Gonna see how I can implement that. DP
