    Default I'm Back...and all heart

Want thank all of you for your kind words and prayers the past days. Had triple by-pass Jan. 2. Came home yesterday. OK..no fooling...anyone that tells you this surgery is routine isn't lying, but it hurts. Jeeze.

But, I'm on the mend. Won't be fishing awhile, but I'm sure I'll be on the water before spring.

Thanks guys. All of you. Your comments and thoughts made a big difference.

    Joe

Glad to see you're back jhook, I know your feeling better, except the soreness, especially when you cough, sneeze or laugh big. But you'll be back to normal soon. Good to hear you're home and doing good.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Good to hear from you, J. You should be back to action in a month or two. I hope Conway has some water back in it by then.

I like the routine comment...they kinda treat it like herdin' cattle...:D

I wish you a completely successful recovery. And keep us updated. Take Care Joe.

Just grab that heart-shaped pillow they gave you when you cough and keep getting better. Take your vitamins, do a few bicep curls and doubly check on that hand-reel coordination, cuz you're gonna need it when you let'r rip and stick a lip.

Hey J I was starting to wonder when you were going to sign back on. Glad you made it thru ok and are on the road to recovery. Be careful the road to recovery has some pot holes you need to watch out for.

Will do my best to keep you posted on the fishing, though there are better anglers to fish vicariously thru. CEB, LA Stumpjumper his wife and myself are heading to Larto in Louisiana to fish with the Cajun crew next weekend. I am sure that will provide several photo ops for us.

Again take care and glad your back.

    Hey Joe:

Good to see your back home and on the mend. Hope you heal up quick so you can get back after them - don't want them overpopulating and stunting!

jhook, glad to know you are on the recovery road. I have a freind that had open heart surgery, and i can believe that it hurts bad, they split him open in the front and he said he thinks they cracked some ribs near his backbone when they spread him open, just thinking about it makes me hurt. Welcome back, listen to the Docs and take care of yourself. And as Gooch said, I am one of the Cajun crew he was refering to and I can promise you there will be lots of pics posted for yall to see. May have to go to the Louisiana board to see them, but they will be here. I think there will be almost as many camera's there as there will be fishin poles. Glad to have you back.............Johnny
You can't fish with a hung line!
