Thread: Mid-South #812 Takes Big-D/Going For third Win In A-Row on OverCup

It was a great single pole tourney at Dardanelle as myself and Crappie Greg thought we had them figured out in the muddy waters during pre fishing, Only to find out that our Pre-Fishing spot did not fair well in Mid 90's temp's. We was able to put the big fish of the tourney in the boat, but then the bite went down hill and sent us scrambling for clearer water. We had located some brush piles in clear'er water that ranged from 9-12 feet deep, about the same depth we had caught them in the muddy water. We Dropped the Midsouth # 812 tipped with minnows and the Muddy Water Bait White & Chart on 1/8th Oz LuckE Strike and Local heads from Dan's/Gold Creek Bait shop and hit a flurry of nice fish which just pounded the two baits. It was a Very Long Hot, fun day on the water and any time you can win two Tourneys in a row against the best in Arkansas your on the right track... Much like American Pharaoh Myself and Greg will be going for a Triple Crown Win in a Row On Lake Overcup in a few weeks. LOL

I sure would love to see a bunch of you guys show up and try to stop the Ole Pro and CrappieGreg from winning that third win in a-row.

Just know that the CACA Anglers are the best in the state... any one of these teams can put a hurting on ya, on any given day, on any given waters, and I am blessed to know these guys... all of whom have made me and Greg better crappie anglers.
