    Just noticed that I've finally reached legend status...it's just a shame that is the highlight of my day...:D

    Oh well, them crappie must have been stacked up pretty good to look like that on the graph. I can't imagine that there would actually be that much brush down there.

    How many poles did you have out? Any ideas why they wouldn't hit a jig? That's a sin for an old oxbow.

    And speaking of hidden honey holes, I sure wish you could get some coordinates pinpointed on some good docks...

    I had 6 poles out. I bought two Driftmaster rod holders from Richard Williams, four holders per. It is the darnest thing I have seen for that lake. Saturday I fished there and nothing. I don't know why that wouldn't hit my jigs. I think they must have liked the shining silver of the minnows, plus the minnows were more action, the crappie hit hard, even the little ones. I knew I had a good fish when pole tip goes down in the water.
