You are absolutely right Jerry......MS river oxbows are a thing of the past......just something to dream about and memories to cherish......... but not worth the trouble to put a boat into anymore! Chotard, Lee, Whittington, Ferguson, Kate Adams, Paradise.....they are all just garholes now. I recommend everyone stay as far away from the river as possible to increase your Crappie catch!!!!

Man 2 years ago everyone was promoting mississippi oxbows and now condemning them???? Hahahahahaha them arkansas boys must be good at what they do! Jk jk I still like the scenery, even if I do get a gar or 2. Beautiful lakes over there. Like a couple people had said from this site.....Gar taste good too?!
