It would be a good weekend to fish with CACA over on Horseshoe! The water is still good over there and the fish are biting from what I have heard so come out Saturday and join most of us in learning a different lake!
Hope see everyone there!

You can see them on Central Arkansas Crappie Association Home page. Just google Central Arkansas Crappie Association and it will give you several places to look. Be sure to look under the hit entitled "Updated Rules", or something like that to see a few changes. All the information should be right there on the CACA website. Hope you get to make the Horseshoe tournament Saturday.
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
Thanks..Ive fished alot of bass tourneys but never a crappie tournament..might try to get over there!
I'm not going to be able to make this one (been in bed with pneumonia) but you should try to make it. CACA is made up of a bunch of good guys and good fishermen. I have seen them welcome new tournament participants and make them feel right at home. You should make an effort to get over there, but if you don't you can check the tournament schedule on the website and maybe make the next one. Hopefully the water will be back to normal in Central Arkansas by then!

The water over here is clear and the lake is in great shape. If you have never been on this side of the state, you really should check it out. I hope many of you will make the trip over and fish on Saturday. If some of you want to come Friday and spend the night, the nearest hotel is in Marion which is about 25-30 minutes from the lake. Marion has several hotels/motels and I would most likely suggest the Hampton Inn. I've never stayed at any of them.
Bonds Grocery will be the registration site. They will have breakfast sandwiches, bisquits, drinks, ice, minnows ($1.89/dozen), gas, etc. They normally open at 6 am. There's plenty of time to get all your stuff and get in the water before time to start fishing.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!!!
