Thread: Where to Start?

Hello,

I will be spending the week with my grandparents in Arkansas. They live in Hot Springs Village. Since moving there (2011) we have had little to no success fishing in the area. We have fished Nimrod and Ouachita. I know there are fish in those lakes, but we just have had no luck.

If anyone has any pointers on either lake or other nearby lakes I'd greatly appreciate it. Hoping to catch some slabs after a tough finals week.

Mitch, PM Nimrod and see if you can set up a guide trip with him. Be money well spent cause you will get years of experience and knowledge in one day. That knowledge will serve you well in learning the lakes in that area.
