They don't normally. They are trying to thin out a few million green sunfish on Lake Greenlee. So went told them we thought we could find them a few flathead for brood. The brood stock will be returned to the lake when the hatchery is done with them.

Very addicting. It is a huge adrenaline rush when you get close to a line and the limb starts bouncing crazy.

Ive yet to find a fish one that will straighten a eagle claw 10 OT circle hook. I swear by a circle hook. The week point in any hook is the long shank. The circle hook rids that problem

The straitened hooks were 6 OT circle hooks. I have upgrade to 9 OT circle hooks. The Brocken swivels were size 2. I have upgraded those to 2 OT.

I started out with 5 OT circle hooks. I found out fast those are junk for large blues and even a good sized medium flathead lol. May I ask what your bait of choice is? I been using perch this year as always but haven't been having alot of luck. Not really finding alot of shad I fish from the banks. Considering goldfish but I didn't have much luck with those last year
