    Default NWA Bella Vista

Took the wife to Eureka Springs for the eve. Met a guy who lives in Bela Vista and fishes there some. He told me that Bela Vista had just changed there incorporation status and that meant that the lakes there were now leagaly open to fish by the public. I would check it out with someone else before I went but there is some real good fishing up there that doesent get much pressure. Just thought I would let you guys know who live up there as it might open up some new water for you.

I fish with a guy that lives in Bella Vista and as of now only property owneres can fish the lakes. That may change. As long as they pay dues it will not be open to the public though!

As it stands right now, you must be in the POA (Property Owners Association) to fish the waters and tournaments...(unless you have a special permit and accompanied by someone who has been in the POA for at least 12 consecutive months. The fishing is great, especially on Lake Windsor...I have several friends, and a few distant relatives that live there. I have not heard any talk about it being public, might have just been a consideration for a few weeks, but I'm sure it was denied, they are REALLY picky. I bought one sq. ft. of land to be eligible for the POA membership and I fished several tournaments in '05, really good waters. Thanks for info. I'll check more into it also and let everyone know what I come up with.
