Thread: Found a mess at Wapa

Went to Wapanaca yesterday and found some nice crappie getting ready to spawn. The fish that came out were black as can be. In fact the fish on the left is a female. I started trolling in the middle with a few keepers and to many throw backs. Moved to single pole and cypress trees. Not there either. Moved out to the grass lines near the cypress and bam Water was 68 degrees and the fish were in 3 foot of water. Color of choice was pink and yellow aka Spanky. Getting warm enough for those sneaky snakes. Got real crowded and called it a day
