Some of my best days were overcast especially when fishing clear water and then I've done well on sunny days right before a front arrived.

Not sure if there is another one RCC. This one has some good info though. Thanks for digging it up.

Old saying for hunting and fishing...."Back side of the high, front side of the low" Is best times. Now we didn't throw in the moon phase to all this. lol

I found a great app called "Scoutlook". It has barometric forecasts, lunar phase, weather radar, drift points, winds, etc...all in one app. I think it's only out on android but its a great all around fishing app.

30 years ago I was a hard core commercial fisherman down here on mobile bay. I had a little pocket barometer I wore on a chain around my neck. Falling preasure days were money days, the worst the weather the better the fishing. This was salt and brackish water and just the fish moving and being active. But low or falling preasure are the best days I believe to load the boat.
Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
