    where do u guys catch crappie with the lake up 10 ft above normal just ahead of the spawn. thanks

    10' closer to the bank!!!!! high water

    Cf, I would really use my electronics to try and find the shad close to flooed buck brush. I would also stay with normal pool brush piles, just slow down and try a 1/8 oz to 1/4oz jig head. What lake are you fishing? you may try trolling jigs or slower spider rigging to cover water until you establish a pattern and then pin point them vertically over the top of the shad/ crappie. High water is very tuff, but i wish you the best of luck and tight lines.

    I really hope the water drops fast . Then check over brush along normal lake bank lines or points with bush. Sometimes when lakes drop fast they will pull to these spots. Here on Nimrod with average depth of 8' and then get a 15' rise it can be tough. Triple depth average and lake area doubles it can be hunting a needle in a haystack. If it settles down at times they will pick a certain tree or area and bunch up.

    thanks for all your help. will b fisying lake wister in ok. will have plenty of buck brush from normsl lake on back to shollow water. was out there last march it was high caught very few fish. thanks again for the help.
