With all the influx of water and rainfall to come paddling back up stream would be more than likely impossible and even with a motor it could be pretty dangerous. Alot of it just depends on how close you are to the dam.

We will just be walking down from his house and fishing from the bank. Will the water need to be high, low, rising or falling? If a boat is necessary, I see that we can rent just the boat for $25 and boat and motor for $120. How difficult will it be to get back up stream with paddles only?
