Finally got around to getting the Silent Stalker installed that Dad won at Crappie Camp last spring. I'm ready for shallow water stalking now! Looking forward to seeing how much difference it makes. I want to give a big thanks to Roy Dicken and Dennis (Midsouth Man). Here's a pic...

They not only work in shallow water. They make your boat more stealthy in deep water also. The noisy from the wave slapping will be gone. It's really helped my fishing by increasing my catch in both deep and shallow waters.

It seems guys think it only works in the shallows, and that can't be further from the truth. Fish get spooky in deep water also, usually from the barrage of boats hanging over them making too much noise. The Silent Stalker will make a huge difference when this happens by making Your boat much more quiet.

Depends on wind speed. I do when there's a light crappie chop up to 6-8 mph. Any faster than that I grab the socks and/or chains and go with the wind if I can stay on my structure or cover.
