I know the feeling D10, 3:20 in the morning some yahoo tried to open my truck door and the dog went off i even have a camera mounted on the garage and the wife unplugged the recorder on me, i had a glimpse of him as he rode off on his bike, i wanted to give him a Louisville Slugger smile, the police got five of them boy's a week later. They all need money for that evil stuff and not booze.

OK, that makes sense. Yes, DeSoto (and Pineda) have both been drawn down for the winter. They have done a lot of work on Pineda, exacting sediment, and they plan to upgrade the boat ramp. Once the work on Pineda is finished, they will move to DeSoto.

Ive caught some nice bream here, but not that many in one day.

Single pole jiggin with crickets, hey one other thing, you think by drawing down those lakes that far will hurt the fish? I know afg said they didn't have to stock Desoto there were so many fish in it, the catfish were so big they were scary looking,i know Darwin fishes for them big cats and there 85lbs that he caught.I also caught cats on crickets,iv'e had my under water camera in Desoto and seen tons of fish. I think the drawdowns will help make DeSoto and Pineda even better. Pretty sure it helped Coronado last year after the previous year's dd. Need lots more cover in DeSoto! Looking at the shorelines all you see is rocks and gravel. Still too many small green carp in our lakes.

I know there are trees at every entrance to the inlets, i have all the cribs on every lake in the tackle box i leave there. They really need some good brush piles put in or stake beds, i have never had my HDS on the lakes i just put it on the boat last fall. Can't wait to use Si & Di

Pesce, you'll want to come to the baitcasters meeting Monday. The new lakes manager will be the speaker. It sounds like he is VERY interested in improving the fishing.
