Hey bobberwatcher, I've been by that lake but never fished it. Is it a very deep lake and does it have any standing timber or live cypress.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

    D. None of the above.. LOL. It is very shallow for the most part. It has a creek channel that runs through it but the majority of the lake is about 4' deep. The fish I caught today was about 3-4' deep. Seemed to be suspending over the creek channel as well. Caught them all on Rosy Reds tightlining like Ceb does. Lake is FULL of stumps as well. I have never had a whole lot of luck out there, but I have seen some good stringers come out of it. I just haven't spent alot of time out there, but if I get on em, I'll give you a shout. Maybe we can hook up one day and wear em out.

Also, got most of my bites between 1-2pm. They really turned on for that hour or so. I really had to work to get out of that wind. I also started the day w/ a roadrunner w/ black & chartreuse, & switched to those swimbaits.
This is some beautiful weather for fishing, except for the wind. I guess with the water temps rising again, they wanted that moving swimbait. Did they thump it pretty hard?

Thanks for the info. I guess that's another lake that I need to try. Slo-trollin is a good way to learn a lake. Spend some time on that lake, and you'll be the one with a stringer of slabs.:D
