Hey coondog, I went to Morgan Point and it was pretty slow today, I caught 6 crappie, 3 yellow bass, and 4 goo. The crappie I caught were good crappie but they just didn't turn on for me. This is a pic of my 2 best ones.

Well, I went to Degray and did not catch a crappie all day. I did however have one OUTSTANDING fight that lasted about 20 min with this ol girl. (Full of eggs when I knocked the sides off her. :D ) Sorry, picture was taken with my cell phone. My good camera has been loaned out. I figured she wieghed 10 - 12 lbs. not bad on a 12' Wally Marshall with 6 lb test!

Took the boys and a neighbor kid to Lake Poinsett in northeast arkansas and we caught about 30 of the smallest crappie I've seen in a long time. We had fun and it was the neighbor kid's first time ever to fish so we kept 8 of the bigger ones (9-inchers) for him to have a small mess of fish to take home.
