Bass tournaments don't hurt Crappie fishing but can cause Crappie fishermen to hate being rocked all day. Had some of my best trips last summer in the middle of a big Bass Tournament on that lake. Enjoyed talking to those Bass Pros while Crappie fishing brushpiles. Most were courteous and a few were complete a-- holes , but then that is not just because they were Bass fishermen.
