Wrap that baby with saran wrap air tight with some wasp spray inside and let set for a while, they will die. Nice to meet you yesterday on the water Lee.

Had a friend that found one while hunting in the Scatters. Took it back and put it in his truck. Sun through the windows warmed it enough that he couldn't get in his truck for 2 days.

They'll be done by spring. Put it in a garbage bag and stick it in your attic. We have one at the office. I'll get a pic.

Bag it and put in freezer for a week. Hang it in a back porch, barn, shed, deer stand where you have wasp problems and you'll never see a single wasp. I built my kids a fancy treehouse and red wasps immediately took it over, one little quart-sized hornet nest kept it wasp-free for years.

Dry ice and some water in the bottom of a trash can. hang the nest and cover. reaction of wter and dry ice removes all oxygen and let hang a day and probablly all will be well.

disclaimer - some insects and rodents survive without oxygen a lot longer than we understand.
