Matt and I had our best day yet. Matt caught a 2 pounder! His personal best. I have to give credit where credit is due. If it would not have been for Chris (Cmj) showing me the way, we would still be fumbling around trying to catch some crappie. Thanks man! We caught these fish in shallow areas and deep brush. Basically we mimicked whatever Chris was doing. It is now very clear to Matt and I that some alligator weed is a VERY good thing in the cove. We will let it come back a little next year. We just can't let it get out of control. The wind was brutal today, but not bad enough to keep us from fishing. I can't wait to get back out there. I am officially addicted to the thump!
