Sorry to hear about your mishap. I had one about 5 years ago and thought I was dying for real. Had to sleep in a lift chair for 6 weeks still have problems. It can happen before you know it. Hope you get well soon. I thought crappie fishing was safer till the other day a real nut threaten my life out on the lake the other day over nothing.

    Question Wow~~~~!!!!

I have never been anywhere on the internet, not even at work and got so many sincere messages...I would personally write you all back but in just a few hours there were almost 15 messages, wow....I was really bummed out and just read all your heartfelt messages, appreciate the concerns and thanks for taking some time to brighten my day a little. I bet I get out there and do a little fishin' while I am down, whomever wrote about the recliner that's a brilliant idea....and someone else asked how it happened. Well, to be honest I tipped the bottle back a little bit to warm me up (it was -2 degree wind chill, and my buddy was driving I was on back we were going about 50 mph or so and he had to swerve to miss a truck flipped over in the road, yes, we were on pavement, when he swerved it flipped throwing us both off on the left side, I stood up (whole body numb) and said McGoo my hips broken I think, then I went home in a TON of pain and finally the next day decided to go to ER, walked in and they were shocked I was walking....ouch!!!!

Feel free to keep me busy with messages and stuff folks, I am going to be a computer nerd for the next few weeks at least, got a good little southern belle to take care of me, that's the ONLY good thing about what's happened, maybe I can talk JT into bringing me a plate of crappie soon, haha, I ran out already....!!!!! Merry Christmas to all of you too, how's the fishing been the last week or so everywhere?

I guess fishing with you anytime soon is out of the picture! You will be ready to go by the spring spawn! I was hoping to use your brawn to help me with brush piles this winter, so you must get well soon!
Let me know if I can help you any. Crappie is hard to come by as of late, but I will see what I can do! I may come by and visit if your going to be laid up for a while. I'd hate for you to lose your mind and start staring at the lights!

    Hey Minnowman:

Sorry to hear about your accident. I know it doesn't ease the pain any right now but it sounds like it could have been a LOT worse! Make sure those doctors know you need to get put back together as quickly as possible because the crappie are biting now and the spawn is just around the corner.

There's been quite a bit of activity in the Chat Room from about 8:00 to 10:00 in the evenings so I hope you can spend some time there. I have a wonderful Christmas Band Concert to attend this evening so I won't be in chat but I bet several other folks will be.
    FISH ON!
